Lots of things fly and all of them use a different science to do it
We look at some of them and learn the science which helps them to fly
We'll experiment with flyers such as birds, bees, hot air balloons, planes, hovercraft, rockets and lunar modules
Subjects embraced in this module are the science of heat, molecular behaviour, fluid dynamics, friction, laws of motion, and biology
All presented in language appropriate to the age and ability of the children
